Join Thermo Fisher Scientific, a leading global biotechnology company, as an Electron Microscopy Systems Staff Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of Failure Analysis / Troubleshooting, managing resources and equipment to identify Root Causes and deploy Corrective Measures to improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in compliance with legislation and IMS, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the implementation of Failure Analysis / Troubleshooting, managing resources and equipment to identify Root Causes and deploy Corrective Measures to improve product quality.
  • Conduct detailed analytical analysis of system or component level problems that affect reliability, quality, etc., using statistical analysis, 8-Step analysis, 5why's, or other established methods.
  • Provide technical support to the factory, ensuring that Thermo Fisher is capable of shipping products with outstanding robustness, quality, and reliability.
  • Review and support the supply chain with engineering expertise, analyzing parts for reliability and supplier technical quality issues.
  • Support the service organisation with product issues as necessary, developing action plans and managing resources.
  • Track evidence of changes, report results, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification for work with electric devices (if possible).
  • Willingness to work in a high-tech industry manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and engineering reports.
  • Proven ability to plan and resolve issues involving cross-functional, multi-cultural groups and sites.
  • Ability to acquire a valid passport and travel regionally and internationally as needed.
  • Proficient in English and Czech (verbal and written).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
