Position SummaryWe’re looking for a Shopify Front-End Developer with 2 years of experience to join our remote team. You’ll collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to improve and maintain Shopify storefronts for a wide range of e-commerce clients. This is a a great opportunity to grow within a structured, and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript- Implement responsive, cross-browser compatible UIs with clean, semantic mark-up- Maintain and enhance existing storefronts without compromising functionality- Collaborate with the team on planning, problem-solving, and feature implementation- Debug and optimize front-end performance and codebase efficiencyRequired qualifications - 2 years of front-end development experience, ideally in a structured e-commerce environment (8+ employees)- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and asynchronous programming- - Strong skills in HTML/CSS, including responsive design and cross-browser compatibility- Comfortable working with Git and standard version control workflows- Strong problem-solving ability—able to debug issues and optimize existing code- Ability to learn independently and bring fresh ideas to the table- Clear and professional communication skills; able to work across cultures and time zones Nice to have (not mandatory)- Deep understanding of native browser APIs and advanced DOM manipulation- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Vite, or similar- Experience with API integrations (REST or GraphQL)- Testing mindset, with exposure to unit and integration testing- Experience using AI tools like Cursor or ChatGPT to boost productivityWhat we offer- 25 days of vacation and sick days, plus national bank holidays (based on your country of residence) - Fully remove work, with an 8-hour working day.
