Finance Expert

Delivering exceptional results in finance roles requires a deep understanding of financial markets and regulations. As a Specialist in this field, you will provide strategic guidance to senior management and C-level stakeholders.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance roles at banks, insurance companies or other financial institutions is required.
  • You should have the ability to navigate financials through key controlling and finance reports, particularly in banking financials and regulatory reporting.
  • A good understanding of financial close, consolidation and reporting processes is essential.
  • Banking controlling functions including budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation and profitability analysis are critical skills.
  • Excellent data analytics skills and the ability to work with databases and BI tools are necessary for success.
  • Proven experience in participating accounting and finance processes within financial institution environments is highly valued.

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Financial project management experience, especially in financial institute-related projects.
  • Treasury or banking front office experience can be beneficial.
  • System implementation from a finance SME perspective can be advantageous.
  • Continuous Improvement or BPR projects/initiatives can be relevant.
  • Big 4 consulting experience with financial institute clients can be valuable.
  • Finance qualifications such as CFA, ACCA or CIMA can be desirable.
