Financial Operations Expert

We are seeking a diligent Compliance Specialist to join our team in ensuring that our funds operate in accordance with legal and contractual requirements.
The primary responsibility of this role will be to analyze regulatory and contractual obligations, and continuously monitor fund activities to guarantee adherence to these requirements on a daily basis.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Communication skills: The ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and convey them effectively to various stakeholders.
- Excel skills: Proficiency in using Excel formulas, VLOOKUP functions, and data analysis tools.
- Data analysis: The capacity to draw meaningful insights from large datasets and make informed decisions accordingly.
- Bloomberg knowledge: Familiarity with Bloomberg systems and tools is highly desirable.

- Analyze legal and contractual documentation, such as investment restrictions from fund prospectuses.
- Implement appropriate controls in IT systems in line with fund requirements.
- Monitor funds to ensure compliance with regulations (UCITS / AIFMD) and contractual terms.
- Handle daily alerts regarding potential breaches and escalate issues to control teams in Germany.
- Collaborate with audit, risk, and operational teams in Germany.
- Prepare internal documentation and reports.
- Participate in process improvement projects, especially at the senior level.
