Top C# Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled Top C# developer to design and develop software in .NET technologies to achieve business goals.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10+ years of hands-on experience with C# software development, familiarity with the .NET technology stack: C#, REST Web Services and .Net Core, and proven ability to assure high code quality through unit tests and adherence to software development best practices like Clean Code, SOLID, and code reviews.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining microservices architecture for back-end, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting and fixing bugs discovered during E2E testing, sharing their experience and skills with other team members, and proposing and elaborating with others how to improve code quality, performance, and stability.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information sciences or a related field.
  • Excellent English communication skills to explain and document ideas and plans for different audiences.
  • Experience in working in globally distributed teams is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, C++ is an asset.
  • Open-minded and willing to learn and develop software engineering skills.

About the Project

Our company is creating a new industrial IoT platform from scratch to provide top-notch monitoring software for Power Grids. This system is mission-critical for keeping lights on.

As we're starting from scratch, we use cutting-edge technologies in practice, not just on paper. In daily work, you'll gain hands-on experience with containerization, Kubernetes (k8s), and microservice architecture with its benefits and drawbacks.

Key concepts like scalability, reliability, and availability are essential, requiring basic knowledge of how to achieve them in a microservice world.

Low-level system components are written in C#. Quality is paramount, so we constantly invest in test automation, from unit tests to E2E tests automated in Python using PyTest.

Our tech stack includes .NET 6, REST API, SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server), Git, Azure DevOps, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus.

Your Impact

As a Senior C# developer, you'll join our team in Krakow, collaborating closely with colleagues from Sweden and the US.

  • Design and develop code in .NET technologies to achieve business goals.
  • Design, develop, and maintain microservices architecture for back-end.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs discovered during E2E testing.
  • Share your experience and skills with other team members.
  • Propose and elaborate with others how to improve code quality, performance, and stability.
  • Work closely with Product Owner, QA engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
