About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Electronics Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Energy Technology Center in Krakow, Poland. As a member of our Digital HW Electronics team, you will contribute to the development of advanced control systems for High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full lifecycle of hardware platform development, from concept to production, for HVDC Control & Protection systems.
  • Design and develop robust hardware platforms, including analogue/digital electronics, high-speed optoelectronics, and gate drivers.
  • Work with simulations, parts selection, schematics, and layout to create efficient and reliable designs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from MACHTM teams in Sweden and India to develop End-to-End solutions integrating electronic hardware, FPGA, and embedded software.
  • Drive processes and tools improvement activities to enhance team efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • Experience with design processes, Altium, and testing.
  • Strong commitment to SAFe and Agile work practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
