We are seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Digital Electronics Engineer to join our team in Krakow, Poland. As a key member of our Digital HW Electronics team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge digital electronics solutions for our HVDC control and protection systems.
About the Role- Design and develop high-speed digital control boards, I/O measurement systems, and power electronics control and protection circuits.
- Collaborate with colleagues from MACHTM teams in Sweden and India to develop end-to-end solutions integrating electronic hardware, FPGA, and embedded software.
- Work in a comfortable office with great transport communication and modern equipment in our brand-new on-site laboratory area.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of hardware platform development, from idea to release and sustaining production.
- Practical knowledge of hardware electronics design process and tools (e.g. SPICE, Altium, PADS, Zuken CADSTAR).
- Experience with laboratory test and measurement equipment and circuit boards testing, reworking.
- Strong commitment to SAFe (Agile) work practices and dedication to follow all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and good communication skills.
- Knowledge of design reliability methodologies (DFMEA, MTBF, etc).
- Awareness of relevant industry standards and methodology.
- English language – at least Intermediate / B2 / Technical communication.
