About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Test Development Specialist to join our team at Hitachi Energy Technology Center in Krakow. As a key member of our Digital HW Electronics team, you will be responsible for the development and testing of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full lifecycle of hardware platform development for HVDC Control & Protection systems, from idea to release and sustaining production.
  • Take care of system integrity of products, working closely with adjacent teams (software and FPGA engineers, product verification engineers, etc).
  • Contribute to testability of designs and influence requirements based on your experience.
  • Participate in simulations, schematics and layout reviews, product release process, prototyping, validation and testing of products, development and support of local verification infrastructure and setups.
  • Prepare and manage technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional experience or participation in end-to-end study projects with building and testing prototypes.
  • Knowledge of hardware design process and tools (e.g. SPICE, Altium, PADS, CADSTAR...).
  • Experience with laboratory equipment and circuit boards testing and measurements, soldering.
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
  • English language – at least Intermediate / B1 / Technical communication.
