Technical Skills Overview

This role requires proficiency in various areas, including:

  • Microsoft/Windows environments, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Conditional Access, and MFA.
  • Intune device management, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switching/routing, VPNs (IPsec/OpenVPN/WireGuard), UniFi, and/or MikroTik.
  • Hyper-V and/or VMware, Datto BCDR operations, EDR/AV operations, email security gateways, log monitoring automation, and strong change control discipline.
  • Kaseya VSA or Datto RMM, ConnectWise Manage, and IT Glue, as well as strong PowerShell skills for diagnostics and light automation.
