We are a Swedish technology neo-bank that develops straightforward and secure financial services for customers. Our mission is to improve people's financial lives through technology, innovation and lots of passion.

The Development and product team is located in Poland and Sweden (60 people). We plan to extend our dev team.

As a Cloud Native Software Engineer at Northmill, you will develop cloud native applications and run operations in the AWS cloud environments. You will have an impact on our applications by working closely with product managers and specialists, as well as internal employees who use our banking platform to improve the financial lives of our customers.

You will work with:

  • C#
  • .NET
  • ASP.NET
  • AWS (including fargate, lambda, S3, event bridge)
  • SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Modern AI development tools

You will also apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Distributed System Architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) and Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS).

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of commercial experience in creating web applications
  • Solid experience developing applications using C#
  • Solid experience in working with SQL databases
  • Good spoken English
  • Experience with software engineering best practices (code reviews, continuous integration, continuous deployment, testing)
  • Exposure to Agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with Web services/web API
  • Familiarity with AWS platform
