Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps engineer to drive innovation and solution development in support of software development. In this role, you will collaborate with dynamic global technology teams using cutting-edge technology to develop the power grids of the future.

This includes creating AI-based software that is used by our customers to make decisions that help them manage critical infrastructure and assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and document the deployment build and release process.

  • Build scalable and secure production high availability environments using Microsoft Azure.

  • Troubleshoot build and release issues.

  • Continuously improve the delivery tool chain and associated processes towards more automation and shorter turn-around times.

  • Define custom metrics, alarms, dashboards in alignment with operational goals.

  • Advise development teams on SW configuration management/branching and test automation strategies.

  • Serve as a member of a cross-disciplinary team (active participation in team activities that focus on a common goal).

  • Implement security principles at all stages of deployment.

Requirements

  • Candidate should have a degree from university in computer science/engineering or other relevant education.

  • Strong experience with Azure cloud platform and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

  • Ability to create, customize, and manage application deployments using Helm packaging.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as code using Terraform.

  • Understanding of monitoring solutions including Prometheus and Grafana.

  • Experience with log aggregation and analysis using Loki.

  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL database administration in cloud environments.

  • Knowledge of cloud and container security principles including access management, vulnerability scanning, secret management, and security monitoring.

  • Knowledge of AI solutions and MLOps will be an asset.
