Middleware Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Middleware Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining middleware platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining middleware platforms (e.g., WebLogic, JBoss, WebSphere, Kafka), troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application servers and message brokers, performing system health checks, log analysis, and root cause investigations, deploying and configuring applications, managing security settings (SSL, certificates), and applying patches.

  • Tune performance parameters (e.g., JVM, thread pools) and optimize monitoring.
  • Create and maintain runbooks and automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
  • Collaborate with clients to align on technical solutions and service quality.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
