Quality Assurance Strategist

Our organization is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Strategist to lead quality assurance, test automation, and continuous validation strategies in our Grid Automation R&D unit.

">

The Quality Assurance Strategist will be heavily involved in QA aspects during analysis, design, testing, and deployment phases of Enterprise Software Solutions (ESS) applications delivery, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams building mission-critical, real-time systems using Microservices, Kafka, C#, C/C++ technology stack, deployed on Microsoft Azure.

This role will ensure that our systems meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and security in modern power grid solutions.

">

Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining Test Procedures, automated test frameworks, and pipelines for integrated applications, defining and executing test strategies that cover functional, integration, system, performance, and security validation, contributing to CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) by integrating automated tests and improving release quality gates, collaborating with software engineers to understand requirements, architecture, and system behavior to create effective test cases, analyzing and reporting test results, identifying root causes, and working with development teams on resolution and continuous improvement, advocating for a quality-first culture, process improvement, and testability in product design, leading QA initiatives, mentoring junior engineers, and fostering best practices in quality assurance, automated testing, and quality engineering.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.">
  • Experience in distribution, energy, and generation management systems (DMS/EMS/GMS) & SCADA systems with a proper understanding of power applications is a plus.">
  • 5+ years of experience in QA and test automation with a strong focus on systems built using Microservices, Kafka, C#.">
  • Hands-on experience in automated test frameworks (e.g., FlaUI, Test White, Windows Automation) and scripting (e.g. Python, Bash).">
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, pipelines, containers, and deployment in cloud environments.">
  • Strong knowledge of test design techniques, including black box, white box, performance, and regression testing.">
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and version control tools like Git.">
  • Experience with security testing, static/dynamic code analysis tools, and compliance standards is a plus.">
  • Good communication skills in English; ability to explain technical issues clearly.">
