Procurement Excellence Manager

As a Procurement Excellence Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management for global logistics and fleet programs. This highly visible individual contributor position requires collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to support business growth, ensure compliance, optimize costs, and drive innovation across multiple markets.


Job Description:
  • Develop and implement global logistics procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts with logistics service providers and 3PLs to secure best total value.
  • Drive cost transparency, reporting, and procurement analytics for informed decision-making.
  • Support regular freight tenders, supplier performance reviews, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality frameworks in MedTech logistics.
  • Partner with Global Corporate Fleet & Travel to manage global and regional supplier relationships.
  • Contribute to fleet optimization programs including electrification, TCO transparency, and sustainability goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in logistics procurement.
  • Strong background in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Knowledge of GDP / ISO standards within medical or MedTech logistics is an advantage.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to create added value.
  • Experience in matrixed, global organizations; exposure to Germany or global procurement projects preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, TMS, and procurement analytics tools - nice to have.
