Systems Engineer Lead

At Jamf, we strive to empower our teams to take ownership of their tools, processes, and workflows. As a dedicated Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in driving system reliability and observability improvements.
About the Role:This hybrid role is located within Poland and requires sponsorship for those based in Poland with the ability to live and work in Poland. You will collaborate both remotely and in the office as desired.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as a mentor and guide, empowering the team to adopt and effectively use existing tools and processes.
- Foster a collaborative culture by working closely with development and operations teams to align tools and processes with business goals.
- Collaborate with the team to define and implement Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs), ensuring alignment with system and business requirements.
- Provide guidance and expertise to help the team measure, track, and improve system reliability, while making the process an integral part of the team's operations.
- Support the team in understanding system architecture and communication patterns, enabling better decision-making in design and implementation.
- Act as a link between internal teams and external platforms, such as Tyk, Keycloak, and Pulsar, ensuring seamless integration and effective issue resolution.
- Assist the team in leveraging the observability stack (e.g., Grafana, CloudZero) to gather actionable insights and improve system performance.
- Collaborate to enhance monitoring workflows and establish comprehensive metrics coverage that the team can independently maintain.
- CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Git.
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Understanding of SLI and SLO concepts.
- Experience with AWS and related infrastructure.
- Familiarity with MySQL and DynamoDB databases.
- Knowledge of enterprise security and hardening best practices.
- Experience with issue tracking software, such as JIRA Service Desk.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Tyk, Keycloak, and Pulsar.
