About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our application management efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to foster collaboration among team members.

Your Background
  • A bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field is required. Candidates with equivalent experience in IT will also be considered.
  • The selected individual must have at least 2 years of experience managing global applications or implementation projects.
  • Prior knowledge or experience with PowerBI, machine learning, or artificial intelligence is highly desirable.
  • Candidates should have a solid understanding of IT service management concepts (ITIL) and be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, time management, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • Responsibility for end-to-end delivery, independence, and discipline are essential qualities for this role.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to foster team spirit, collaboration, and customer focus, are crucial for success.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.

The role focuses on managing the run and small-scale build aspects of applications in our Project Management Domain portfolio, while utilizing technologies like machine learning and artificial intelligence to deliver business insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage applications from initial planning and development through retirement (decommissioning).
  • Monitor daily operations of the application development team and provide regular feedback.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to manage all project requirements.
  • Plan, schedule, and control application or platform builds through different stages (including testing and deployment).
  • Work closely with architects, quality testers, and application specialists to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure application operations and continuity.
  • Ensure IT controls, regulatory, and legal requirements are considered when designing, delivering, and running platforms, applications, and services.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business processes supported by the applications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with end-user communities, both directly and via SPOCs.
  • Create and maintain an application roadmap aligned with technology roadmaps.
  • Keep operational records and data accurate and up to date, including licenses and contracts, and monitor expiration dates.
  • Understand the business case and purpose behind the application.
