Senior Network Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Operations Engineer to join our team.

  • Job Summary:
  • This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, and switches.
  2. Lead incident response and root cause analysis for network outages and performance issues.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
  4. Develop and maintain network documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  5. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership during critical operations.
  6. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
  7. Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Technical Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar enterprise-grade networking equipment.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with automation/scripting (Python, Ansible) is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP) are highly desirable.
