About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Accountant and Payroll Specialist. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in accounting, finance, and payroll management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Process payroll, including calculating salaries, benefits, and taxes
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and labor codes
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including preparing financial models and forecasts
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and payroll management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of accounting software, including Helios
