Overview

We are seeking a Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls in Brno. As a key member of our international team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and obtaining international regulatory approvals and directives for the sale of Fire Detection products.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is 60,000 - 80,000 EUR, with additional benefits including a 13th salary four times a year and an annual bonus (14th salary).

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all activities associated with obtaining and retaining regulatory approvals with regulatory agencies. You will also provide support to currently marketed products by reviewing engineering changes, labeling, promotional material, product changes, and documentation for compliance.

  • Maintain product technical files and ensure compliance with global regulatory directives and regulations
  • Participate in national and international standards committees
  • Provide regulatory engineering support to project teams
  • Stay updated on applicable regulatory requirements and represent the company in standards committees
  • Manage and maintain the European ISO Quality System and related systems
  • Review and manage proposed device changes with regulatory agencies
  • Oversee the approvals budget and provide regular forecasts
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience with European or global regulatory requirements and working with regulatory agencies
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Advanced level of spoken and written English
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office
  • Good problem-solving skills
