Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our international team of regulatory engineers at Johnson Controls. This role will involve activities leading to and maintaining international regulatory approvals and directives for the sale of Fire Detection products.

About the Role

This position requires strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, as well as an advanced level of spoken and written English. The ideal candidate will have experience with European or global regulatory requirements and working with regulatory agencies. Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain product technical files and ensure compliance with global regulatory directives and regulations.
  • Participate in national and international standards committees.
  • Provide regulatory engineering support to project teams.
  • Stay updated on applicable regulatory requirements and represent the company in standards committees.
  • Manage and maintain the European ISO Quality System and related systems.
  • Review and manage proposed device changes with regulatory agencies.
  • Oversee the approvals budget and provide regular forecasts.
