You have:

  • A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years building backend services in production environments
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Kotlin, Go, TypeScript)
  • Experience with AWS (or similar cloud platforms) and cloud-based software development
  • Expertise with both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
  • Deep understanding of software design patterns, algorithms, and system design
  • Effective collaboration and B2+ English proficiency

About the role:

Join us as a Software Development Engineer II on Remitly's Global Money Movements Team Our mission is to promote the world's most trusted financial services through a platform that provides modular, reusable components to move money around the world. Our Kraków squads specifically focus on storing financial information and expanding our payment network's credit and debit card capabilities.

On this team, you'll build highly-resilient, scalable, micro-service solutions that power Remitly's future architecture. You'll solve technical challenges including micro-service scaling, durable workflows, and global team collaboration. You will report to a Kraków-based manager.
