Your career opportunity

We are hiring a Service Reliability Engineer to join the Digital Business Automation (DigiBA) team in CTO Infrastructure. Our platform provides mission-critical services including Control-M, IBM Sterling File Gateway, and Connect:Direct — supporting thousands of batch and file movement operations daily across HSBC's global estate.

In this role, you will focus on data-driven reliability engineering — turning insights from incidents, change records, capacity data, and operational KPIs into tangible improvements. You will partner with engineering and operations teams to drive platform stability, identify patterns, and embed proactive practices across our distributed and mainframe-based environments.
