We’re hiring a Head of Product Design to own our design vision, scale a senior design org, and ship enterprise-grade UX across web, mobile, and AI-powered workflows.

The impact you’ll drive (first 12 months):

• Own and evangelize the end-to-end design vision aligned to Intaker’s product and business strategy.
• Establish a clear design strategy tied to activation, retention, and revenue.
• Translate company strategy into UX objectives, north-star narratives, and measurable outcomes; cascade into roadmaps/OKRs.
• Review the current design system and improve it (tokens, components, code parity) to accelerate delivery.
• Level up discovery and evaluative research so roadmap bets are insight-led.
• Improve usability of complex, data-heavy workflows.
• Build and mentor a high-bar team; institute crits, review cadences, and quality gates.
• Manage team resourcing and capacity (headcount plan, hiring, coaching, vendors/contractors) to keep the portfolio moving.
• Build a benchmarking mindset within the team (competitive teardowns, quality bars, and metric comparisons).
• Act as a player-coach: contribute hands-on to high-impact work while leveling up the team.
• Ensure high-quality product is shipped consistently.

What you’ll do:

• Own the design vision and narrative for Intaker; align with executives and translate strategy into UX objectives and an operating plan (OKRs, roadmap).
• Lead product design end-to-end: research → IA/flows → visual/UI → QA.
• Act as a hands-on player-coach, contributing to critical flows, system primitives, and executive-ready artifacts.
• Define org KPIs (activation, TTV, task success, NPS/CSAT) and connect them to product metrics.
• Partner with PM/Eng to shape quarterly bets, scope experiments, and ship iteratively.
• Run resource planning and team management: hiring, coaching, performance, and vendor/contractor oversight.
• Govern our multi-brand, tokenized design system with engineering parity (e.g., Storybook/design tokens).
• Run discovery (interviews, JTBD, diary studies), evaluative tests, and synthesize insights into clear decisions.
• Communicate crisply with executives and customers; produce exec-ready narratives and decision memos.
• Own product quality: establish quality gates, design QA, and release readiness checks.

What you’ll bring:

• 8–12+ years in B2B product design with 3+ years leading designers (Head/Director/Lead).
• Portfolio of shipped enterprise workflows with measurable outcomes (before/after metrics).
• Figma mastery: components, variables/tokens, Auto Layout, prototyping, libraries/governance.
• Design systems leadership: tokenization, contribution model, versioning, code parity.
• Research leadership: plans/runs discovery & evaluative studies; turns insights into roadmap priorities.
• Metrics fluency: experiments/A-B tests, dashboards, and decision-making from data.
• AI/LLM patterns: prompt/response, guardrails, HITL review, trust/transparency UX.
• Integration mindset: designs around CRM/Calendars/Telephony/Payments APIs; handles latency, retries, and errors.
• Outstanding English communication; confident with execs, sales, and enterprise customers.

Nice to have:

• Legaltech or workflow tooling experience (CRM, intake, scheduling, call tracking, reviews).
• Familiarity with Storybook, token pipelines, and analytics (Mixpanel/Amplitude/GA).
