What you need to have to succeed in this role Experience in building managing a range of services in Google Cloud Platform. Expertise in products like GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Build or Cloud Run will be considered as a plus. Expert level understanding of Cloud Security and associated Google Cloud specific best practices. Strong understanding of DevOps and SRE principles and Infrastructure as a Code concepts and techniques. Hands-on experience in Terraform and strong understanding of CI/CD and related tools e.g. Cloud Build, Flux CD, Helm. Excellent skills in at least one of following programming languages: Python, Go, Bash. Security and Compliance experienced, e.g. IAM and cloud compliance/auditing/monitoring tools and experienced in full automation and configuration management. A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change. Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences.
