AWS Cloud Engineering Manager @ SnapSoft

Excellent problem-solving skills for use-case-specific architecture design and implementation Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead teams and engage customers effectively Proven technical leadership experience in coordinating engineering projects and guiding teams Strong client-facing skills to lead refinements, planning, and technology discussions Experience in building and scaling engineering teams, including recruitment and talent development Ability to influence stakeholders and align engineering outcomes with business goals A master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 8+ years of experience in the field of software development 4+ years of hands-on AWS infrastructure design, deployment, and operations experience In-depth knowledge of AWS services: VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS, IAM, API Gateway, CloudFront, SecurityHub, GuardDuty, CloudWatch, KMS, PCA, and others 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred, CloudFormation, Ansible, AWS CDK, etc.) 3+ years of experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar) 2+ years of experience with container-based applications (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancers, firewalls) and related AWS services Strong understanding of cloud security concepts (IAM, PoLP, access control, encryption, endpoint security) AWS Professional/Specialty Certification (preferred) We are SnapSoft, and we aim to become the top AWS Premier Tier Consulting Partner in Central and Eastern Europe by 2026. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a cloud engineering team on varied customer projects while also architecting cloud-centric solutions based on customers’ needs.
