Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field 7+ years experience as a DevOps engineer. Excellent experience with Composable Architecture principles, especially on an API first strategy. Excellent proficiency with the AWS cloud platform with focus on infrastructure as code using Hashicorp Terraform. Basic knowledge in Backstage Configurations & Operations. Excellent knowledge in automation with CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions. Good knowledge in Kubernetes development and operations with focus on AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service. Good knowledge in security concept with focus on operations of Hashicorp Vault and using OpenID Connect using Microsoft Entra ID for authentication and authorization. Good knowledge in designing and operating streaming data integration using technologies like Kafka and AWS Kinesis Good knowledge in orchestrating AWS cloud services using AWS Step Functions, AWS Simple Queue Service and Apache Airflow Basic experience cloud monitoring solutions like AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus or OpenTelemetry Lead DevOps Engineer  We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be a part of Bayer's Customer Engagement Team.
