Senior Software Engineer @ Bayer

WHO YOU ARE: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. 5+ years experience as a software engineer. Good experience with Composable Architecture principals, especially on an API first strategy. Good experience in working in an agile team using Scrum or Kanban. Excellent experience in one or more programming stack like Python, TypeScript (Node.js). Knowledge of other programming languages is a plus. Excellent experience in software version control using Git, good knowledge of collaboration in software development via Github. Excellent experience with developing RESTful APIs, especially with focus on deployment as AWS Lambda functions and via AWS API Gateway. Good experience in API specification & documentation with focus on OpenAPI and Swagger Good knowledge in using different database (both SQL and no-SQL) and integration technologies for software development with special focus on AWS DynamoDB, PostgreSQL and AWS Glue. Good knowledge in using and operating a test-driven development using testing frameworks and API Test methodologies. Good experience in developing streaming integration solutions, especially with focus on Amazon SQS, Kafka and AWS Kinesis. You feel you do not meet all criteria we are looking for?
