Staff Software Engineer

Here's what you'll be up to:

• Contribute to planning strategy by bringing business and industry insights to technical decisions
• Solve tough problems that few can tackle, either hands-on or by orchestrating collaborative, large-scale efforts
• Create software that is robust in the presence of failures; it's scalable, and cost-effective
• Lead with exemplary coding practices: code organization, clarity, simplicity, error handling, and documentation
• Break down complex challenges into straightforward solutions
• Develop code for significant, critical, or demanding software
• Align teams toward coherent architectural strategies
• Stay ahead of industry trends, sharing new technical insights and best practices with peers

We're looking for someone who has:

• 7+ years of commercial experience as a Software Development Engineer
• 7+ years of programming experience with at least one modern programing languages (Go, Python, Ruby, Python, C/C++)
• 3+ years of experience contributing to architecture and design of new and concurrent, low latency systems (including Kafka and ML pipelines)
• Experience with Databases (PostgreSQL, MySql), DataStores (ElasticSearch, Redis)
• A strong background in app performance, monitoring, and optimization
• Experience with tooling and building pipelines on modern CI platforms
• Experience working with public cloud providers ( AWS / GCP)
• Solid Computer Science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithm design
• A self-starter mentality with an operational focus - a natural problem-solver

As an engineer on this team, you'll tackle game-changing products and help shape our foundational cloud computing platform that's revolutionizing the real estate industry.
