Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and develop strategies for data-driven solutions
• Utilize the Dataiku or Databricks platform to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and data pipelines
• Support and mentor other data scientists in effectively using the Dataiku/Databricks platform and implementing best practices
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify key business problems and opportunities, and translate them into actionable data-driven solutions
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation to uncover insights and build predictive models
• Communicate complex technical concepts and analytical findings to non-technical audiences through compelling visualizations, presentations, and reports
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to develop content showcasing the value and impact of data-driven solutions powered by Dataiku/Databricks
• Actively participate in knowledge sharing activities, including conducting training sessions and workshops to enhance the data science capabilities within the organization
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and the Dataiku/Databricks platform, and share insights with the team
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to data scientists and users of the Dataiku/Databricks platform

Skills/Knowledge Required

• Minimum of 2 of relevant delivery of complex analytical projects (industrialized, validated)
• Proven experience as a data scientist, analyst, or in a similar role
• Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation using programming languages such as Python or R
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning techniques, with experience in applying them to procurement or supply chain datasets
• Familiarity with data science platforms like Dataiku or Databricks
• Familiarity with working with generative AI models and apply them to real use cases
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy and integrity
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and ability communicate with larger audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
