Global Payments is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join our Global Strategy & Architecture program. This role will involve working closely with business and IT stakeholders from the shop floor to the SVP level, aligning Technology delivery with Business Strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain pragmatic and useful enterprise architecture models (e.g. landscape overview diagram, target architecture, business capability map.)
• Define referential architectures and architectural patterns.
• Propose architectural standards and guidelines to support IT initiatives and technology investments.
• Lead architectural reviews, ensuring consistency and adherence to enterprise architecture principles and Global Payments standards.
• Identify and promote emerging technologies with potential business value.
• Support M&A efforts by assessing acquired technology landscape and preparing integration roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership in cloud, microservices, and API-driven solutions.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in information technology, or strategy consulting.
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, or business architecture.
• Experience working in large organization with geographically distributed teams.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) and experience with their practical application.
• Knowledge of popular modelling languages (e.g. C4, BPMN, ArchiMate, UML).
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
