Overall Purpose of the Position

As the Communications and Marketing Coordinator, you will support the development and delivery of creative communication, community-building, and fundraising strategies that connect, inform, and celebrate our school community.

Working closely with colleagues in the Advancement Office, you will help create engaging and inclusive content, while supporting the planning and promotion of school events and fundraising initiatives.

Through storytelling, design, and collaboration, you'll play a key role in showcasing the achievements of our learners, strengthening relationships across our diverse community, and amplifying our mission to inspire, engage, and empower all learners to be curious, competent, and compassionate changemakers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation and coordination of content across all school communication platforms (website, social media, newsletters, digital screens, print materials)
  • Support the planning, promotion, and documentation of school events and community engagement activities
  • Collaborate on the development and delivery of fundraising and donor communication campaigns
  • Capture and contribute to the production of multimedia content, including photography, video, and graphic design
  • Liaise with teachers, students, and families to gather stories and highlights that reflect ISP's values
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Advancement Office as neede
Experience, Skills & Dispositions required
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Culturally responsive and enthusiastic about ISP's mission and values
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and willing to learn in a dynamic school environment

Education & Training Preferred

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field
  • Entry-level experience or internships in a relevant role (education, non-profit, agency, etc.)
  • Strong familiarity with social media platforms, digital content creation, and design tools, including AI-powered tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Express, Adobe Suite, CapCut)
