The International Move Coordinator (IMC Level 1) acts as the primary point of coordination for all moving-related services, delivering an exceptional relocation experience for our clients and their assignees. You will organize and support the movement of household goods and personal effects, ensuring every move is managed with care, accuracy, and efficiency.

This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Relationship Management (40%)

  • Serve as the first point of contact for assignees and clients throughout the relocation process.
  • Proactively communicate move expectations and updates, addressing inquiries with empathy and urgency.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, agents, and partners worldwide.
  • Monitor and manage customer expectations, ensuring service excellence and satisfaction.
  • Take full accountability for the successful execution of each assigned move.

Logistics Coordination (20%)

  • Follow defined move management workflows and company systems.
  • Plan and coordinate efficient, cost-effective shipment routing by sea, air, or road.
  • Liaise with movers, truckers, freight lines, customs brokers, and other key partners.
  • Ensure compliance with account requirements and regulatory standards.

Move Administration (20%)

  • Maintain accurate data and documentation in Globalcom/PROMOVE/Navision systems.
  • Prepare and manage shipping paperwork, customs documentation, and billing support.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Accounts Payable/Receivable, Billing, Claims) to ensure smooth move execution.
  • Assist with claim initiation and support customers through the process.

Customer Satisfaction & Exception Resolution (20%)

  • Manage exceptions and resolve service issues promptly and effectively.
  • Negotiate with vendors and network partners to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and meet KPI and service quality targets.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or customer service preferred.
  • Basic geographical knowledge and understanding of international shipping processes advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM/logistics systems.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and cultural awareness skills.
  • Secondary language proficiency highly desirable.
