The project and the role description:

Our client is an AI-driven PharmaTech British company committed to discovering, designing and developing better medicines. It developed the first-ever functional precision medical platform to successfully guide treatment selection and improve patient outcomes.

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our AI team focused on building intelligent agents using Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK) and deploying them on Vertex AI Agent Engine. You will work on cutting-edge agentic workflows, multi-agent systems, and scalable cloud-native deployments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AI agents using ADK (LLM, Workflow, Custom)
  • Integrate external tools and APIs into agent workflows
  • Deploy agents to GCP using Agent Engine and manage runtime environments
  • Collaborate on multi-agent architectures and agent-to-agent communication
  • Monitor and evaluate agent performance using built-in observability tools

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

  • Strong Python programming skills (3.9+)
  • 5+ years of working experience
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, IAM, Cloud Storage)
  • Familiarity with ADK, LangChain, or similar agent frameworks
  • Understanding of LLMs and generative AI workflows
  • Experience with CLI tools (gcloud, Make, UV)
  • Knowledge of containerization and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal). English is our working language, so please submit your CV in Englsh
  • Located in Czechia or Slovakia

Desirable:

  • Experience with multi-agent systems or microservice architectures
  • Familiarity with Gemini, Anthropic, or other LLM providers
  • Contributions to open-source AI frameworks
