Your area of work:

Deutsche Börse Group is one of the largest exchange organizations worldwide. As a financial marketplace organizer, the company provides a portfolio of services covering the entire process chain: securities and derivatives trading and clearing, netting and transaction settlement, risk management, custodian services and provision of market information.

We are looking for student who will help us with our automated test development in the Clearstream Fund Services development team (CFS). The aim is to help support of automated test development on the wide portfolio of application within CFS. Our automated test are written using Selenium and/or Playwright framework using Java and/or Javascript. Out applications are written in Java with either Angular or React frontend over SQL database. In order to improve application stability in test environments and to reduce the need of regression testing, we need automated test engineer to help us to cover the application via regression tests.

For development, we use Continuous Integration/Delivery tools (Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, Artifactory, IntelliJ)

Your responsibilities:

• Working in international multi-location environment
• Design and development of the new GUI and backend Automated tests for our existing applications
• Must be a responsible and reliable team player with good communication skills

Your profile:

• Practical experience with development of automated tests (ideally using Playwright framework)
• Practical experience with Java
• Experience with GUI test framework(s)
• Experience with Spring framework is advantage
• Experience with SQL databases is a plus
• Willingness to learn also the business purpose of the application tested
• The ability to identify problems and propose solutions
• English is mandatory and this includes good English writing skills
• An interest in financial world (Mutual / Hedge Funds) is appreciated

Contract type: Agreement on Work activities (in Czech: Dohoda o pracovni cinnosti)
Working time/ hours: up to 20 hours per week
