We are looking for a motivated full-time Localization Specialist (German) and Web Editor to join our Localization team and elevate our marketing communication in the DACH region. The ideal candidate is professional and open-minded, ready to take on new challenges. This position covers the entire flow of content, from creation to publication on our website.

YOUR TASKS

• You will be in charge of localizing and reviewing translations from English to German for different marketing content assets, such as website pages, blog articles, emails, etc. The key topics are related to data privacy and technology that enables organizations and website owners to comply.
• You will be our organization's German voice, ensuring we effectively address DACH audiences. You will transcreate and adapt our content to local needs, whenever relevant.
• You will partner with various marketing areas, making German localization a driving force for our business.
• You will work in our CMS system, WordPress, to publish and optimize website content.

YOU BRING

• You bring at least 2 years of experience in marketing/comms localization and/or content creation in your mother tongue, German, preferably in the tech or legal industry.
• You have a university degree in translation studies, Germanistics, communication, marketing, journalism, or another relevant field.
• You enjoy the challenge of localizing in-depth texts and making complex matters intelligible and pleasant to read about. You know how German customers and prospects should be addressed and what they expect from a company like Usercentrics.
• You are a fluent writer who speaks and writes perfect German, with impeccable grammar and an innate "sense for language".
• Knowledge and experience with WordPress are highly valued.
• You are efficient but also thorough and detail-oriented. You are personable and dependable.
