We have great news We are seeking a talented and passionate Leader of Software Engineers that develops software engineering and product strategy in collaboration with product management and drives its' implementation. You will apply the principles of software engineering to the design, development, maintenance, testing and evaluation of software and computer systems, collaborate cross-functionally and ensure that documentation and specification of product are captured correctly.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN OUR SW TEAM? 

•  Provide direction to a small team of software engineers

•  Work with product owners / managers and customers to understand use cases and requirements

•  Lead team members in the planning and delivery of product / solution releases

•  Ensure delivery of secure, high quality, well tested and scalable software to meet customer and business requirements

•  Work with technical leaders to set priorities when it comes to product backlogs

•  Ensure policies and procedures regarding software tools, processes, technologies, maintenance and monitoring are followed

•  Engage with customers, end users and business partners to understand problems and issues with software development and deployment

•  Provide mentoring and performance development for assigned staff

•  Evaluate team and individual performance, making recommendations and decisions about placement and rewards

•  Positively impact performance by providing helpful and actionable formal and informal feedback

•  Ensure team members receive targeted on-the-job, informal and formal development opportunities

•  Build and foster cross-team and cross-functional collaboration

SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

• Professional experience in Software Development

• Great understanding of Agile methodology

• Experience in leadership position
