WHAT YOU'LL DO

As our Distribution Center (DC) Controlling Manager, you'll be part of the management team shaping the future of our new site in Cheb, Karlovy Vary Region, Czechia. With the DC set to open in the second half of 2026, you'll play a key role in laying the foundation for its success — both operationally and strategically.

You'll lead the future Controlling team, ensure robust operational controlling, and act as a business partner to Regional Controlling and DC Operations — driving performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting business results.

This state-of-the-art facility, spanning nearly 250,000 sqm, will be the largest and most highly automated DC in our global network. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and communicate strategies to achieve cost, planning, efficiency, and payroll targets in close collaboration with the DC management team.
  • Lead the budgeting process and monitor projects and KPIs (cost, service, sustainability) to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Build, lead, and develop the Controlling team, including succession planning.
  • Provide financial insights, reports, and analyses to support decision-making; act as deputy for the DC Manager when needed.
  • Ensure accurate invoicing and monitor key cost drivers for quality and compliance.
  • Conduct performance and cost analyses, identifying improvement opportunities in profitability, service levels, and efficiency.
  • Define reporting frameworks and structures aligned with global standards and requirements.
  • Support contract negotiations from a Controlling perspective, including tenders with external providers.
  • Deliver data-driven decision support to the DC management team.
  • Oversee and validate planning processes, challenging assumptions where needed.
  • Support the implementation of IT systems while ensuring co-determination rights are respected.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership competences, including several years of experience in a similar role within a logistics environment
  • Relevant educational background, ideally in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with solid expertise in Controlling, Logistics, DC Operations, and Finance
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, adaptable to stakeholder needs and cross-functional, cross-country collaboration
  • System affinity, with proficiency in relevant software tools
  • Project management capabilities, including prioritization and business case calculation
  • Business fluent in Czech and English
