At Digital Hub Prague we are currently seeking an experienced Technical Team Lead / Product Owner to drive the development and management of our sophisticated data platform.

What is the purpose of the position

As a crucial member of the NNDAP International team, you will provide leadership, vision, and direction to ensure the platform's performance, security, and scalability. This dual role requires a candidate who can seamlessly integrate strong technical leadership with the strategic oversight typical of a Product Owner. 

What are the tasks you will perform

  • You will lead, coach, and mentor the Platform Team, promote a culture of technical excellence and innovation 
  • You will act as Product Owner, defining and maintaining the product vision and managing the product roadmap and backlog
  • You will provide advanced technical support for SaaS applications related to the data platform
  • You will engage with stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and translate business requirements into technical solutions 
  • Your task will be to ensure clear communication of the product strategy and objectives to both the team and stakeholders 
  • You will drive the Agile development process, facilitating sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • You will collaborate with architects, data scientists, and engineers to identify and integrate the best tools and technologies 
  • You will manage resource allocation and project timelines to deliver high-quality products on schedule
  • You will foster a collaborative environment that encourages ownership, accountability, and decision-making within the team
  • You will maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in data platform technologies

Who you are

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, ideally as a Technical Team Lead or Product Owner, with a focus on data platforms and SaaS application support 
  • Strong foundation in data engineering and familiarity with big data technologies is part of your DNA
  • You are able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • You have a proven track record of leading teams to deliver successful products in an Agile environment
  • You are excellent in problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Decision maker who is able to prioritize competing interests
  • You have practical experience with Azure Databricks, Python, and SQL
