Job Summary
The Head of Innovation Services is responsible for leading and managing the innovation services team to drive the development and implementation of innovative solutions across the organization. This role focuses on fostering a culture of innovation, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives that enhance the company's competitive edge, fundamentally through Artificial Intelligence, but also through new and emerging technologies that might be adopted at Sandoz.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Innovation Strategy: Support development and implement a comprehensive innovation strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the innovation services team and indirect community, to ensure high performance, professional growth, and adherence to policies, procedures and technical architecture requirements.
- Solutioning: Propose innovative solutions to address business needs.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of innovation projects, ensuring they meet quality, time, and budgetary requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to identify innovation opportunities and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of resources, including budget and personnel, to support innovation initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of innovation projects.
Minimum Requirements
What you'll bring to the role:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in innovation related activities, with focus on artificial intelligence
- Deep understanding of Technology processes as well as new technologies
- AI & Data Science domain expertise
