Team Leader

Our mission is to build a new division at Braiins focused on creating a range of cutting-edge hardware products, from embedded devices to industrial-grade solutions. We are looking for a passionate and versatile Team Leader to build and spearhead this new "task force" team. You will take ownership of our current retail products (like the Braiins Mini Miner) and drive the future of hardware at Braiins.

This is a unique opportunity to build your own team from the ground up, with full support from our experienced engineers. You'll be responsible for hiring, managing people, making key technical decisions, and ensuring we meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment without excessive bureaucracy. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who loves a challenge and wants to make a significant impact.

A Day in the Life: Examples of Your Work

• Build Your Team: Screen, interview, and hire engineers to create a high-performing hardware squad.

• Lead and Mentor: Guide the technical and personal development of your team members, providing feedback and resolving conflicts.

• Drive Projects: Lead project planning, prioritize features, and define the scope to ensure your team meets ambitious deadlines.

• Coordinate Across Teams: Act as the main point of contact for your division, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration with other teams at Braiins.

• Make Key Technical Decisions: Select the right hardware and software technologies for new projects and challenge existing architectures to ensure robustness and scalability.

• Get Hands-On: Review critical software components and architecture designs, particularly those written in Rust or C/C++.

• Manage the Process: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept and hardware selection to final deployment.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Is:

• Driven by a strong sense of ownership over the product and a relentless commitment to delivery.

• Reliable, accountable, and dedicated to meeting deadlines.

• An experienced and effective leader, able to facilitate meetings, manage people, and make tough decisions.

• Proficient with a programming language used for device software, such as C/C++, Rust, or similar.

• Able to design robust software architectures or, at a minimum, critically challenge them.

• Familiar with an embedded or Linux-based development stack.

• A versatile professional who is more than just a people manager and is not afraid to dive into technical challenges.
