The Department of Forestry and Wood Technology Economics and Policy is a unique workplace that focuses on all aspects of the forestry and wood sector, renewable natural resources, and the environment. What will your work involve?

  • leading lectures and seminars on the legal environment in forestry and nature and landscape conservation
  • transmitting acquired knowledge to students
  • supervising final theses of pregraduate studies
  • developing educational, scientific research, and creative activities in the field
  • actively participating in research projects and grants
  • publishing results in professional and scientific journals and presenting at conferences and seminars

What do we expect from you?

  • completed master's degree in forestry and law and a Ph.D. or equivalent scientific degree
  • at least 10 years of professional experience in the field
  • excellent knowledge of Czech and English
  • ability to lecture, lead seminars, and effectively convey knowledge to students
  • experience in supervising student theses
  • publishing activity
  • excellent communication and presentation skills
  • ability to work in a team as well as independently

What research experience do we require?

  • ability to develop and innovate research projects
  • experience in presenting research results and publishing them in leading impact-factor journals
