R&D engineer is required to support manufacturing and quality / support product sustaining tasks
Risk of insufficient product support for factory and customer projects.We offer:
  • Support Manufacturing and Quality in Stribro with R&D product knowledge
  • Create and modify design drawings, bills of material and technical specifications for production and purchased parts, incl. maintenance of items in SAP
  • Drawing modification considering costs, manufacturing concerns, service possibilities and assembly conditions  
  • Develop statistical analyses for the improvement of the products
  • Cross-functional coordination with the relevant interface partners
  • Review and implementation of proposals for improvement
  • Support of manufacturing by implementation of new devices
  • Support for certification of the new suppliers
Tasks and Qualifications:
  • Completed engineering studies (mechanical engineering, construction technology) or comparable technical training with corresponding professional experience
  • At least 5 years of professional work experience in similar position
  • Interest in new technologies and approaches to solutions
  • Ideally knowledge of logistics systems
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • CAD knowledge (Siemens NX) and good MS Office skills
  • Assertiveness, reliability, commitment, as well as intercultural competence
  • Enjoy interdisciplinary work, very good teamwork and communication skills
  • High level of personal responsibility, flexibility, initiative and commitment
  • Very good command of written and spoken English. German knowledge advantageous
  • Willingness to travel
  • Basics knowledge of quality management
