Summary:

We are seeking three Data Entry Operators to provide support to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Carlsbad Field Office. This position is part of the Business Support Services (BSS) Pool 4 – Administrative/Financial contract, focused on processing data related to oil, gas, and mineral activities.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Accurately enter, update, research, and verify information into government databases.

  • Work with systems such as the Mineral & Land Records System (MLRS), General Land Office Records Automation, and IT4RM.

  • Maintain confidentiality and data integrity.

  • Prepare source documents for data entry, verify and log receipt of information, and resolve discrepancies.

  • Code and record data, resolve processing problems, and escalate issues as needed.

  • Support general records management and ensure compliance with agency standards.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in data entry, records management, or administrative support.
  • Required to pass a government background investigation successfully.
