Position Purpose

This position is responsible for the e-commerce channel from a marketing perspective and for leading and executing communication strategies across all digital channels in the Czech and Slovak markets for our professional haircare brands (Goldwell, KMS, Kerasilk, VARIS).

The role encompasses key areas such as digital marketing, performance reporting, content localization, project coordination, and day-to-day operational marketing support. It requires close collaboration with sales teams, external agencies, and global departments to ensure consistent brand representation and to drive market growth.

The position reports to the Channel Strategy & Marketing Manager and works closely with the Regional Marketing and E-commerce teams.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Channel Ownership

Lead the e-commerce channel for all Kao brands across the CZ/SK markets. Define and implement the commercial components of the local initiative calendar in line with global and regional strategies. Develop and execute profitable commercial plans that support Net Sales and Business Profit growth by increasing both horizontal and vertical distribution. Track the performance of e-commerce activities and monitor budget spending on a monthly basis, identifying risks and opportunities as part of the ongoing business tracking process.

Digital & Social Media Strategy

Develop and execute a digital communication strategy aligned with global brand direction. Define and manage the local social media strategy, including content planning, campaign execution, daily operations, and paid media activities (e.g., Facebook and Instagram Ads). Collaborate with influencers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure engaging and high-performing digital content across all platforms.

Project & Platform Management

Support and lead key projects from local planning through to execution in line with EMEA strategy deployment. Responsible for the successful implementation of strategic initiatives such as ESG projects, Social selling, the Flinkit platform, and the Salon Finder tool. Manage and regularly update all local brand websites (Goldwell, VARIS, Kerasilk) to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with brand standards.

Digital & E-Commerce Analysis and Support

Monitor and analyze digital channel performance and provide recommendations to increase visibility and engagement. Offer dedicated e-commerce support for key customers, including sell-in/sell-out analysis, marketing support (banners, campaigns), SKU updates, and logistics data coordination.

Internal & External Engagement

Participate in internal meetings, field visits, training sessions, trade shows, and events as required to represent the marketing and e-commerce function effectively.

Functional Competencies

  • Systems - comprehensive knowledge of business intelligence software and Excel are required

Professional Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience of working in a brand marketing, a trade marketing or e-commerce
  • Experience of working in a direct field sales role preferred
  • Luxury, Professional Health and Beauty Experience an advantage
