We are seeking a skilled and professional Manufacturing Manager to oversee manufacturing processes and departmental operations within the technical discipline of turboprop engine assembly and testing.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence.
As a Manufacturing Manager, you'll report to the Senior Manufacturing Manager and have the opportunity to make a real impact in one of the most exciting and advanced industries.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of operations, ensuring Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) are always prioritised, with safety as the foundation of everything we do.
You'll work closely with talented teams to optimise workflows, improve product quality, and implement creative solutions that make a difference.
By leveraging lean manufacturing principles and collaborating across engineering, supply chain, and quality functions, you'll help bring cutting-edge technologies and products to life.
Your leadership will inspire and empower your team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Lead departmental operations planning and execution, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and strategies.
- Manage and develop a team of professionals, including hiring, performance development, and fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of manufacturing engineering and analytical thinking to execute policies and strategies effectively.
- Apply best practices and integrate own area with other functions, maintaining awareness of market competition and differentiating factors.
- Exercise judgment to propose innovative solutions for complex manufacturing processes involving technical variety and interdependent production cycles.
- Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues, providing guidance and mentorship while leading small-to-medium projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
- Communicate performance expectations, resolve sensitive issues, and build consensus within the team to achieve operational objectives.
Basic Requirements:
- Significant experience in Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering, with knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Czech.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems, document and execute programs, and market initiatives effectively.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to lead and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
