Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to work closely with research stakeholders to understand their needs, define and groom backlog, and enable solutions in an agile fashion. You will lead a cross-functional team of product analysts and engineers to architect, engineer, and implement custom or COTS solutions to support stakeholder needs.
Primary Responsibilities- Collaborate with research stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable backlog items
- Define and groom backlog to enable development of solutions in an agile fashion
- Establish strong working relationships with enterprise teams and leverage and influence the roadmap of their D&A and cloud products to support research needs
- Develop a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for the product, aligned with the organization's goals and objectives
- Be accountable for the total cost of ownership of solutions and services in the product, ensuring cost-effective and efficient solutions
- Make investment decisions based on the value generated for the users, balancing business needs and user requirements
- Lead a cross-functional team of product analysts and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions and services
- Establish strong platform engineering capability to enable highly reliable and available D&A solutions to service all of the research community
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 7 years' experience directly related to enterprise D&A platform solutions enablement, operation, and support
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a leadership role
- Strong understanding and hands-on engineering experience in cloud
- Proven experience working with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable backlog items
- Experience developing product strategies and roadmaps
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and practices
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively
- Experience implementing, scripting, and operating cloud-based infrastructure, preferably in AWS
- Experience in ensuring reliability, availability, and performance of dynamic environments
- Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical information verbally and in writing
- Ability to recruit and nurture talent in the organization
- Experience with biopharma research stakeholders is beneficial
- Experience with Product Management tools like Jira, Jira Align, and experience working in agile methodologies (scrum, Kanban, etc.) is also welcome
