Job Description
The Print and Fax Product Line supports company enterprise Print and Fax capabilities. Team manages full lifecycle of hardware and software products, including market evaluation, engineering, deployment, operational support, and retirement. Team ensures two primary enterprise print capabilities are managed in product lifecycle approach: general office print, and specialty print (barcode and label printers).

Global Managed Print Product Manager
Owns product vision, OKRs, roadmap, backlog, and execution for general office print needs, and specialty print needs (barcode and label printing in research and manufacturing).

Role Contains:

  • People manager responsibilities for global service delivery and engineering team.
  • Individual contributor in print specialist or engineering capacity representing EMEA region.


Responsibilities:

  • Definition of overall product vision and strategy with focus on value, business outcome, and user experience.
  • Owning and managing product throughout duration of product lifecycle.
  • Making product decisions, and ensuring decisions align with product strategy.
  • Adoptions of strategic view about evolution of engineer needs.
  • Development and regular calibration of metrics for the product.
  • Driving continuous product discovery to understand user needs and translate that to solutions and product backlog.
  • Creating, maintaining, and continuous prioritization of product backlog to maximize value delivery and long-term sustainability.
  • Leading adoption and retention of the product.
  • Driving release and support planning and execution (go to market).
  • Definition and management of product standards and workflow processes for global print capabilities.
  • Partnering with business to understand needs of print services to meet unmet needs and improve overall service delivery of print services.
  • Establishing and managing external hardware vendor relationships to deliver sales and technical support for vendor products, as well as establishment of hardware standards and acquisition of standard printers (office and bar code) to set up a lab environment for use by enterprise application teams to test print functionality against standard offerings.
  • Establishing and managing software vendor relationships to manage roadmap of solution offering, address operational issues and continue to address user needs.
  • Partnering with support organizations such as IT operations and IT support to ensure end-to-end support is available.
  • Partnering with Enterprise application teams to ensure all integration with print using supported standard methods.
  • Partnering with Infrastructure teams such as data center, network, cloud and security to ensure service delivery of print and fax services across all of our ecosystem.
  • Leading global team of engineers and regional service delivery leads to deliver quality print services.
  • Monitoring and optimization of product’s total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Partnering with the finance to manage forecast and spend of the respective products.
  • Ensuring compliance with all SDLC policies.
  • Utilizing the product model to drive customer experience improvement based on business and stakeholder feedback.
  • Driving automation to ensure consistent high quality of service delivery.
  • Publishing service delivery and executive summary reports summarizing the product performance and use and costs of our print solutions globally.


Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or prior work experience in equivalent Engineering, Computer Science field (in lieu of a bachelor's degree, 8+ years work experience in these fields is required).
  • Strong technical background in security, networking, cloud, and enterprise architecture.
  • Experience working with and developing global teams.


Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience leading global enterprise IT team.
  • 5+ years in managing global vendor service delivery.
  • 3+ years building and leading high performance technical teams.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated financial leadership in a global environment.
  • Demonstrated product management experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to represent product team to internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate to all organization levels across divisions to successfully deliver print and fax services.
  • Competency in the skills and knowledge of the role of 'Technical Product Management' at a manager level.
  • Strong team leadership and development experience; able to demonstrate the ability to manage people.
  • Strong financial management experience developing forecasts and managing budget goals.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills - communicates candidly and clearly with strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Organizational skills to manage complex workloads.
  • Contract negotiation of multi-year global contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience in effective management of dotted line organizations.
