This position is an internal Data Analytics Intern role with the CEE Commercial Operations Team. You will work alongside marketeers, digital teams, and senior data analysts to enhance business performance through analytics and data analytics focused initiatives. The position's main responsibilities include:

  • Data exploration, extraction and manipulation
  • Fact-based quantitative research using data visualization techniques in Qlik Sense
  • Designing and developing dashboards along with the KPIs definition
  • Interpreting performance of campaigns, communicating findings to the team and stakeholders through presentations
  • Supporting requests for ad hoc reporting assistance
  • Building innovative statistical and machine learning models, writing code, testing and validating

What should you know / have:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related STEM field
  • Thirst for learning, willingness to dive in for answers, and excitement towards undertaking challenging transformations
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills
  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent skills working in MS-Office core suite
  • Experience and/or coursework of building and implementing BI tools (experience with Qlik Sense is preferred) for large corporations, data integration, data management and visualization
  • Understanding of database technologies, data structures and SQL
  • Experience and/or coursework with common Python and/or R libraries is helpful, but not required
  • Exposure to digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, CRM systems) and/or basic knowledge of web analytics is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Passion for the marketing industry
  • Demonstrated ability to think about business and technical challenges in an enterprise setting
  • Good presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex data analytics concepts to people from other fields
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Experience in Agile development is a plus

What will you do / learn:

  • You will deep-dive into the marketing campaigns' performance, identify gaps in our performance metrics, explore root causes, articulate insights with a data-driven approach and recommended solutions to deliver premier customer experience
  • You will support a project from conception to completion with high velocity and quality, be cognizant of status, roadblocks, and pace of project throughout and escalate as necessary to ensure success and timely delivery to business partners
  • You will deliver data-driven insights and 'tell the story' that enables strategic and operational decisions
