HR Generalist Opportunity in Prague

Support day-to-day HR operations, manage employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance in a global company.

As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations in a global company. You will be responsible for managing HR functions such as employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.

Your main responsibilities will be tied to the two Danfoss entities in the Czech Republic, however you will also act as HR advisor for managers in multiple countries. You will be responsible for managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes, administering employee benefits programs, and acting as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Administer employee benefits programs.

  • Assist with employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labour laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in performance management processes.
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Background & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a human resources role.
  • Driver's license and flexibility to travel between offices.
  • Basic knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
