Make is a leading visual platform empowering individuals to design, build, and automate various processes—from workflows to applications—without requiring coding expertise. Our headquarters is located in a vibrant tech hub, and our teams are distributed across multiple countries.

We are in search of a diligent and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to become a part of our People Operations team. This position plays a vital role in overseeing global onboarding and offboarding procedures, managing our HR systems, and delivering extensive support across diverse HR functions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in our HR systems, particularly Workday, ensuring efficient operations while supporting our dynamic and expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Global Onboarding and Offboarding:
○ Facilitate the onboarding journey for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
○ Manage the offboarding process, addressing all elements to guarantee seamless transitions for departing staff.

2. HR Systems Configuration and Support:
○ Serve as the primary user of our HR systems, focusing on Workday.
○ Configure and maintain HR systems to adapt to the evolving requirements of the organization.
○ Provide technical assistance and training to team members regarding HR systems.
○ Develop and update documentation, instructional videos, and materials related to system usage and HR processes.

3. Payroll and Administration:
○ Act as a backup for payroll operations, particularly for local processes.
○ Manage administrative tasks related to compliance, labor regulations, and mandatory training.

4. Employee Lifecycle Management:
○ Oversee updates in the employee lifecycle within Workday, ensuring accurate and timely modifications.
○ Assist in the relocation and onboarding of international employees.

5. Collaboration and Support:
○ Collaborate closely with the Senior People Operations Partner and other team members to promote automation and innovation within HR processes.
○ Work alongside the People team to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in an HR Generalist role or a similar capacity.
  • Strong familiarity with HR systems, particularly Workday.
  • Proactive attitude and a can-do mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.
  • A collaborative spirit and self-motivated approach.
